Introduction

As an Industrial Engineer, you will play a key role in optimizing manufacturing processes, improving production efficiency, and implementing new technologies within a dynamic, international environment. This is your opportunity to influence product design from an early stage while driving continuous improvement across the entire production process.

About this role

  • Translate new product designs into efficient, scalable manufacturing and assembly processes.
  • Collaborate closely with R&D during the development phase to implement Design for Assembly (DfA), optimal assembly sequences and manufacturability improvements.
  • Analyse existing production lines and identify opportunities to improve quality, productivity, lead time and overall operational performance.
  • Lead industrialization and continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing methodologies while working closely with multidisciplinary teams across engineering, supply chain and production.

You communicate easily with stakeholders from different disciplines and know how to translate technical challenges into practical solutions. You thrive in an innovative environment where continuous improvement is part of the daily business.


Additionally, you have:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a related technical discipline.
  • Approximately 3 to 7 years of experience within an industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering or production engineering environment.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing, process optimization and project management.
  • Strong affinity with manufacturing systems, production processes and data-driven improvements.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English. Dutch is considered a strong advantage.
  • Permission to work in the Netherlands.
