Our Tier 1 client, one of the world's largest iron ore producers and a global leader in green energy innovation, is seeking an experienced Fitter with a strong Heavy Duty maintenance background to join their workshop team

Details:
Location - Local based role in HazelemereHours - Monday to Friday, 10 hour days
Pay rates - $85-$100/hour + super based on previous experience

About this role

Duties:

  • Perform disassembly, inspection, repair, rebuild and assembly of heavy mobile equipment components

  • Conduct accurate measurements, inspections and assessments to determine component condition and serviceability

  • Identify faults, wear patterns and root causes, and provide feedback to supervisors and reliability teams.

Is this you?

  • Previous CAT experience, CAT 793/797 fleet
  • Experience with component rebuilds
  • Trade Qualification
  • Forklift & Dogging ticket - highly desirable
  • Current Driving Licence
