About this role
This is a 6-month Maternity Leave position as Head of Design. You'll take full ownership of the design function, ensuring alignment between development intent and construction delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead design strategy across development and live projects
- Manage design from feasibility, planning, and approvals through to delivery
- Drive buildability, cost efficiency, and programme alignment
- Oversee consultants, authorities, and internal stakeholders
- Identify and mitigate design and delivery risks
Is this you?
- Proven experience as a Head of Design / Senior Design Manager within a builder or builder-developer
- Strong understanding of both development and construction phases
- Ability to operate strategically while remaining hands-on
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
- Available to commence June 2026
