About this role

  • As a Drafting Engineer, you will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and plans for engineering projects.
  • You will work closely with engineers and other team members to ensure that designs are accurately translated into technical drawings.
  • Your role will involve using CAD software to create and modify drawings, ensuring that all designs comply with industry standards and regulations.

Is this you?

  • Education: BE in Electrical Engineering.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in relay and control engineering up to 400kV, relay and control panel and schematics design, internal arrangement and wiring schedules, panel interface engineering, and preparation of control cable schedules.
  • Software Skills: Proficiency in CAD electrical software (AutoCAD, Elecdes, Ebase) and preparation of panel production documents.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with protection relays (GE, Siemens, and ABB) and their applications.
  • Strong analytical and reasoning skills.
  • Proficient in written and spoken English.
  • Technical knowledge in reviewing and preparing technical contracts.
  • Good knowledge of contract laws and industry practices.
