Introduction

This is a unique opportunity to shape the strategic HR data foundation that will support enterprise reporting, workforce analytics, governance, and future data products. You will work across multiple current and legacy HR platforms, partnering with HR stakeholders, Data Engineering teams, Data Governance, and People Insights functions to create an integrated and scalable HR data model

About this role

As the Data Modeller, you will be responsible for defining the conceptual and logical design of a unified HR data model spanning multiple current and historical source systems.

You will analyse source systems, define key business entities and relationships, document business rules and lineage, and provide implementation-ready modelling artefacts for Data Engineering teams to build and operationalise.

This role is focused on data modelling, architecture, governance and business alignment.

Is this you?

  • Design conceptual and logical HR data models supporting enterprise reporting, analytics and governance.
  • Define entities, attributes, hierarchies, relationships and business rules across HR domains.
  • Develop integrated models covering:
    • Worker and employee data
    • Employment lifecycle data
    • Positions and jobs
    • Organisation and manager hierarchies
    • Cost centres and locations
    • Workforce events and transactions
    • Case management data
    • Talent, performance, remuneration and survey datasets
  • Analyse and align data structures across multiple current and legacy HR systems.
  • Create source-to-target mappings, transformation logic and data lineage documentation.
  • Define historical data handling, effective dating, point-in-time reporting and trend analysis structures.
  • Partner with HR SMEs to establish business definitions, metrics and reference data.
  • Support data governance, quality, privacy and compliance requirements.
  • Facilitate workshops and present modelling recommendations to technical and business stakeholders.
