Introduction

On behalf of our client, a World Leader within the Energy / Oil & Gas industry, Brunel is presently sourcing a Contracts Adviser to support support end-to-end contracting activities within a Contracts & Procurement team. This will a 12 month contract located in the Perth CBD.

About this role

You will be responsible for supporting contract development, sourcing activities, tender processes, commercial negotiations, contract award and post-award contract management, while ensuring compliance with governance requirements, relevant legislation and contractual obligations.

  • Support end-to-end contract lifecycle management activities
  • Assist with the development and implementation of category strategies
  • Support sourcing strategies, Invitations to Tender, tender evaluations and contract award processes
  • Maintain stakeholder relationships to understand contracting requirements and forecast demand
  • Support the development and review of Scopes of Work
  • Facilitate contract approval processes with internal decision makers and Joint Venture partners
  • Support contract variation and contract conformance activities
  • Provide guidance to Contract Owners on post-award contract management
  • Support supplier performance management activities
  • Ensure compliance with legislative, governance and Joint Operating Agreement requirements
  • Contribute to local content, ethical supply chain, Modern Slavery and Indigenous engagement objectives
  • Manage contract information within Contract Lifecycle Management Systems and ERP platforms

Is this you?

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Law OR an equivalent discipline OR previous elevant experience
  • CIPS qualification or equivalent in Procurement and Supply Chain Management (desirable)
  • Experience supporting end-to-end contracting activities within Energy, Resources, Defence or similar industries
  • Experience across one or more contract models such as EPCM, EPC, fabrication or rates-based contracts
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills
  • Experience developing sourcing, tendering and contract award documentation
  • Experience negotiating contract terms and pricing structures
  • Ability to analyse spend data and support category or sourcing strategy development
  • Experience using Contract Lifecycle Management Systems (CLMS), SAP and/or SAP Ariba
  • Experience supporting post-award contract management and contract administration activities
