Introduction

  • Review and assure Onshore and Offshore Projects scaffolding scope in compliance with governing standards, procedures and best industry practices.
  • Implement effective site observation and intervention program ensuring safe and effective execution of scaffolding works.

About this role

  • Audit the project ScafTag System; Monitors and audits the Contactor and its subcontractors scaffolding program including training assessment for compliance to Project requirements. Addresses Working at Height issues
  • Provide input to Contractor's Scaffolding Contractors' and Sub-contractors' pre-qualification program which includes qualification visits and audits of related policies, procedures and training, and competency management systems.
  • Support on Risk Screening and Formal Risk Assessment related to scaffolding erection (greenfield and brownfield scopes).
  • Provide Onshore focal point for resolution of scaffolding problem/ issues on site.
  • Monitor the skills development of Contractor / Sub-contractor scaffolding personnel.
  • Assist in strategy development to capitalize on trends identified from SHE&S data. Participates and / or leads incident investigations as required.
  • Establish strong SHE&S networks across all contracting levels of the project
  • Introduce and manage effective communications protocols to share relevant lessons learned and best practices for consistent implementation among Projects Teams
  • Demonstrate a strong leadership commitment through the support of tangible Contractor safety practices that will be utilized during each phase of the project.
  • Plan and implement field strategies to monitor the effectiveness of Onshore Project safety campaigns and hazard management programs through personal leadership.

Is this you?

  • CISRS Level III or ECITB Advance Level
  • Minimum 10 (ten) years of diversified oil and gas operations experience, out of which 5 (five) years spent as senior supervisor.
  • Ability to review engineered scaffolding designs.
  • Comprehensive understanding of NASC Technical Guidance TG20.
  • Knowledge of LNG Operating Standards & Procedures is advantageous.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong problem solving and follow-up skills.
  • Computer literacy involves the regular use of professional office applications.
  • Effective communication skills, collaborative mindset.
  • Effective coordination and interface skills.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English.
