Introduction

Brunel is currently searching for a Camp Supervisor for a long-term contract position with our client, this contractor position will be in Bagdad, Arizona. Will consider non-local candidates on a 4/1 rotation.

About this role

Manage the camp facility to provide the standards set by the company, including alignment of project activities to business goals, financial and resource allocation, and to audit and control the performance of the camp services provider.

Manage the planning and execution of the project camp schedule to align with the Project schedule.

  • Work with the camp services provider to fully implement the camp rules and regulations.
  • Establish and manage camp services for all phases including transportation, accommodation, catering, offices, IT etc.
  • Oversee the camp services provider's performance to ensure compliance with the contract and to ensure high standards of service including and not limited to housekeeping/catering /waste management/medical facilities/transportation.
  • Manage the monitoring and reporting of supplier's performance against all project support services contracts, work plans, quality of services and camp occupancy.
  • Conduct hygiene and food safety inspections and immediately report any potential safety risks.
  • Manage the camp booking system including the check in/Check out procedures for both mob and de-mob.
  • Perform other relevant duties as requested.

Is this you?

  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality business, or equivalent in training and/or field experience and a minimum of eight (8) years progressive experience in the support services/camps field Or
  • High School diploma or GED and a minimum of twelve (12) years progressive experience in the support services/Camps field (experience with heavy industrial engineering and construction projects administration)
  • Must be a self-starter, quick learner, highly productive and have strong business ethics.
  • Must have working knowledge of standard Microsoft Office products.
  • Ability to work with general office equipment such as a personal computer and keyboard and photocopier.
  • Ability to manage camp facilities.
  • Ability to lead and make decisions quickly with limited information.
  • Strong understanding of construction contracts, work plans and schedule
  • Ability to deal effectively with vendors/suppliers.
  • Strong oral and written communication and documentation skills
  • Ability to capture and analyze camp facilities databases.
  • Skilled in following safety practices and recognizing hazards.

If candidate is not local to the area, client will provide accommodations and travel for a 4 week on, 1 week off not working rotation, along with monthly stipend for living expenses.
