Introduction

On behalf of our Client, a Global Energy Company, Brunel is presently sourcing a Procurement Category Adviser to support Sourcing, Category Management, Contract Management and Supplier Management activities within the Information Systems Category. This will be a 12 month contract based at the Corporate Office in the heart of the Adelaide CBD.

About this role

You will work collaboratively with key stakeholders across multiple geographical locations to deliver sourcing strategies, commercial outcomes and contract management activities aligned with business objectives.

  • Perform sourcing and contract management activities for the Information Systems category
  • Develop and execute Sourcing Strategies and Category plans
  • Lead commercial negotiations and support effective contract outcomes
  • Manage supplier relationships and contract performance
  • Identify and support cost reduction and business efficiency initiatives
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements and align sourcing strategies
  • Identify and mitigate supply and Commercial risks
  • Maintain accurate procurement and contract records within Company systems
  • Ensure compliance with Company standards, governance requirements and procurement processes
  • Support local and Indigenous participation outcomes where applicable

Is this you?

  • Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Law, Business OR Supply Chain Management will be desirable, but not essential
  • CIPS Certification OR equivalent is also desirable
  • Previous procurement experience across Procurement, Category Management and/or Strategic Sourcing with an Information Systems focus
  • Experience in Commercial negotiations, Contract Terms and Conditions and Supplier relationship management
  • Experience managing key stakeholders across multiple geographical locations
  • Strong commercial acumen
  • Previous experience with systems and tools such as SAP or Coupa is desirable
