Brunel are currently seeking multiple HD fitters for our clients busy site in WA on 8:6 or 7:7 rosters.
You will be maintaining and repairing a range of heavy mobile equipment in a workshop environment.
Critical experience required:
Komatsu electric drive trucks (830E & 930E) - previous experience is essential. High voltage awareness and risk exposure knowledge is a distinct advantage.
Le Tourneau 2350 production loaders - high voltage driven machines. Must understand the risks and have proven maintenance experience.
CAT wheel dozers - CAT trained or confirmed CAT equipment experience required. Must also have experience with CAT SIS2 and CAT ET.
Field maintainers work primarily in the pit or open environments - not workshop based. Maintenance is carried out on live equipment in operational areas.
Required experience includes:
Hitachi excavators - range EX3600 to EX5600, powered by Cummins engines. Ideal candidates have experience on both. Note: Experience on Hitachi smaller than EX2500 is not considered sufficient for these machines.
Drill rigs - Contour Epiroc D65 and production CAT MD6310 / MD6420. These are specialised roles for fitters who typically work only on drill rigs. A strong understanding and proven background in hydraulics is essential.
CAT graders - 16M and 24M. CAT trained or confirmed CAT equipment experience required, including CAT SIS2 and CAT ET.
Australian recognised trade qualification (Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic / Fitter)
Proven experience on the specific equipment listed above (especially electric drive, high voltage, and large excavators/drills)
Strong safety focus - particularly around high voltage systems and field maintenance
Ability to work autonomously in remote / open pit environments
Current driver's licence and ability to pass a pre-employment medical & drug/alcohol screen
