Introduction

Our client is a leading underground mining contractor with operations across Western Australia, and we are currently seeking skilled Bogger Operators to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on established mining projects, utilizing your expertise in underground production while benefiting from strong safety culture, career progression pathways, and attractive FIFO rosters.

About this role

Key Responsibilities

  • Safe, efficient operation of the Sandvik and CAT Boggers
  • Conduct regular inspection of the Bogger and report any damages
  • Ensure accurate end of shift reports and other relevant documents are completed and submitted
  • Provide clear and effective communication
  • Keep the trucks operating at full efficiency ensuring all ore, low grade, marginal and waste are kept separate
  • Prepared to undertake other tasks and labouring duties as required
  • Complete pre-starts and report hazards or defects immediately
  • Follow plans, instructions and traffic management rules
  • Help teammates, share knowledge and support a strong crew culture

Requirements

  • Minimum 12 months experience in a Bogger position
  • Strong safety focus and ability to speak up
  • A team mindset and reliable work ethic
  • Commitment to contributing to a positive culture
  • Valid manual (C class) Australian drivers licence (Essential)
  • Dangerous Good Security Card and First Aid Certificate (Essential)
  • Must have a Full Australian Working Rights.
