What are you going to do

As a Sales Estimator, you'll play a key role in the pre-construction phase, working closely with clients and internal teams to deliver accurate, competitive, and high-quality pricing.

Preparing detailed cost estimates for custom residential projects
Reviewing plans, specifications, and tender documentation
Working closely with clients, sales consultants, and drafting teams
Managing pricing, variations, and cost planning
Using Buildertrend software to manage and track estimates
Ensuring all estimates align with project scope, budgets, and timelines

Essential skills and knowledge

Must be over 5 years' experience in residential estimating, with a strong focus on sales estimating
Proven experience working on custom / high-end homes
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and costing
Experience with Buildertrend software is essential
High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects
Strong communication skills and a client-focused mindset
