We are seeking experienced FPSO Superintendents across Mechanical, EICT, Structural, and Piping disciplines to join the Owner's Project Team supporting the fabrication and construction of a major FPSO project at a fabrication yard in China. The successful candidates will oversee construction activities, ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards, and support the safe and timely delivery of the project.

Key Responsibilities

  • Represent the Owner's Team in overseeing discipline-specific fabrication and construction activities at the fabrication yard.
  • Monitor contractor performance to ensure work is executed safely, on schedule, and in accordance with project specifications, quality requirements, and approved procedures.
  • Coordinate daily with EPC contractors, engineering, QA/QC, commissioning, and fabrication yard personnel to resolve technical and construction issues.
  • Conduct site inspections, surveillance, and progress reviews to verify construction quality and completion status.
  • Support Mechanical Completion, punch list closure, system walkdowns, and turnover to commissioning.
  • Review construction documentation, work packs, ITPs, inspection records, and NCRs related to the assigned discipline.
  • Identify construction risks and provide practical solutions to maintain schedule and quality objectives.
  • Promote a strong HSE culture and ensure compliance with project safety requirements.

Essential skills and knowledge

  • Bachelor's degree or technical qualification in Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in offshore Oil & Gas, FPSO, or major module fabrication projects.
  • Previous Owner's Team or Owner's Representative experience is highly preferred.
  • Proven experience working at China fabrication yards on FPSO or offshore module fabrication projects.
  • Strong discipline expertise in Mechanical, EICT, Structural, or Piping construction.
  • Good understanding of construction execution, quality management, Mechanical Completion, commissioning readiness, and handover processes.
  • Experience coordinating with EPC contractors, fabrication yards, and multidisciplinary project teams.
  • Fluent in Mandarin and English, with strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
