Introduction

We are seeking an experienced Wellsite Representative to oversee onshore well operations, including workover, intervention and plug & abandonment activities. This role is responsible for ensuring safe, efficient and compliant execution of well programs, supervising crews, and coordinating site operations while maintaining strong HSE and well control standards.

What are you going to do 

We are seeking an experienced Wellsite Representative to oversee onshore well operations, including workover, intervention, and P&A activities. This role ensures safe, efficient, and compliant execution of well programs while leading field crews and coordinating site activities.

  • Supervise workover rigs and intervention operations, ensuring activities are executed safely and efficiently
  • Deliver well programs in line with approved procedures, identifying and managing any deviations
  • Maintain well control at all times and ensure full compliance with HSE and regulatory standards
  • Lead pre-job planning, toolbox talks, and safety meetings to align crews on scope and risks
  • Manage permits to work and ensure adherence to control of work systems
  • Monitor critical well operations, verifying barrier integrity, depths, and equipment performance
  • Coordinate contractors, equipment, and logistics to support smooth site operations
  • Maintain accurate daily reporting, including operational data, costs, and well records
  • Respond to and support incident investigations, ensuring corrective actions are implemented
  • Promote a strong safety culture, including stop work authority and proactive hazard identification

Essential skills and knowledge

  • Valid Well Control certification (IWCF Level 4 or IADC Supervisor - current within 6 months)
  • Wellsite Permit to Work (PTW) and Permit Authority certification
  • Proven experience in onshore well operations (workover, intervention, P&A)
  • Strong knowledge of well control, barrier management, and integrity principles
  • Experience supervising rigs and managing multiple contractors on site
  • Familiarity with slickline, e-line, coiled tubing, and pumping operations
  • Ability to interpret well programs, procedures, and technical data
  • Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
  • Competent in operational reporting systems (e.g. WellView or similar)
