On behalf of our client - Chevron Australia, one of the World’s Leading Integrated Energy Companies, Brunel is presently recruiting a Technical Assistant to join their Wells Team. The role will support Onshore Well Services including intervention, workover, plug and abandonment activities.

What are you going to do 

  • Maintain Wellview Allez database, analyse discrepancies and maintain data integrity
  • Create job scopes in WellView, maintain and update status, perform QA/QC on data
  • Track regulatory approvals and maintain official well records
  • Interpret well data to build wellbore schematics
  • Monitor performance dashboard, apply enhancements where required
  • Prepare bespoke data reports for internal and external use
  • Extract, organise and compile data for ad hoc requests
  • Provide access, training and coaching for team members in WellView usage

Essential skills and knowledge

  • At least five (5) years Technical Assistant or similar in Well Operations
  • Understanding of Well Operations workflows and processes
  • Able to establish and maintain spreadsheets, databases and records
  • Advanced skills in MS Office Suite of packages and digital skills
  • Knowledge of document control procedures & technical data management
  • Highly self-motivated, methodical in approach to completing tasks, detailed and organised
  • Scheduling experience would be advantageous
  • Ability to work within a team environment
