What are you going to do 

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced construction or trade professional to take a key leadership role overseeing the installation of wind turbine projects across remote and challenging environments.
Reporting to the Construction Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating and supervising day-to-day site activities, ensuring work is delivered safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards.You will work closely with subcontractors, suppliers, engineers and project stakeholders to keep construction activities on schedule and resolve issues as they arise.
* Supervise wind turbine installation and construction activities on site
* Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and site personnel* Oversee turbine assembly, tower erection and mechanical/electrical installation
* Ensure strict adherence to safety and environmental requirements* Monitor project schedules, milestones and construction progress
* Conduct site inspections and ensure quality standards are maintained* Identify and resolve technical, logistical and construction issues
* Manage changing site conditions, deliveries and project challenges* Maintain accurate site records, reports and documentation
* Provide leadership, mentoring and support to site teams

Essential skills and knowledge

We are looking for an experienced site supervisor who can confidently lead teams in demanding construction environments.

You will ideally have:

  • A recognised mechanical, electrical or instrumentation trade qualification
  • Strong hands-on experience within construction, installation or heavy industrial environments
  • Proven experience supervising and leading site-based teams
  • Experience coordinating subcontractors, suppliers and multiple work fronts
  • A strong understanding of safety, quality and environmental requirements
  • Excellent communication, leadership and problem-solving skills
  • Experience using construction management, scheduling or project tracking systems
  • The ability to work effectively in remote or regional environments

Experience within wind, renewable energy, heavy industrial, mining or major construction projects will be highly regarded.

A degree in Construction Management, Engineering or a related discipline is desirable, however relevant industry experience will also be considered.

This role will suit someone who enjoys being hands-on, leading from the front and delivering complex construction activities safely and efficiently.
