Our client is one of the fastest growing insurance builders in the region and are looking for their next Supervisor to join the team. You will be working with experienced trades and a strong leadership team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Site Supervisor looking for their next challenge, or a high-performing Leading Hand ready to take the next step into a Site Supervisor role.

What are you going to do 

As Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing projects from commencement through to completion. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Supervising residential building and insurance restoration projects
  • Managing and coordinating subcontractors and trades on site
  • Overseeing QBuild projects and other insurance-related works
  • Ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and to required quality standards
  • Coordinating site activities, materials, trades and project requirements
  • Conducting regular site inspections and maintaining high standards of workmanship
  • Managing client and stakeholder expectations throughout the project lifecycle
  • Identifying and resolving site issues as they arise
  • Ensuring all works are completed in accordance with relevant building codes, WHS requirements and company procedures
  • Maintaining accurate project documentation and reporting
  • Working closely with Project Managers, Estimators, Assessors and the wider operations team

Essential skills and knowledge

We are open to candidates at different stages of their supervisory career.

You may be an experienced Site Supervisor who has worked within residential construction, insurance building or a similar environment.

Alternatively, you may currently be a Leading Hand or Foreman who is ready to take the next step and develop into a Site Supervisor role.

To be successful, you will ideally have:

  • Previous experience in residential construction, building, insurance restoration or a related environment
  • Experience supervising trades and subcontractors
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • A strong understanding of construction processes and site safety
  • The ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
  • A practical, solutions-focused approach to problem solving
  • A strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • A current driver's licence
