Introduction

An excellent opportunity exists for an experienced Underground Production Engineer to join a well-established hard-rock gold operation in Western Australia. This permanent position offers strong exposure across drill & blast, scheduling, planning and production optimisation, suited to someone who enjoys hands-on technical work and wants stability and development.

You'll work closely with technical teams and mining crews to support production delivery, short-term planning and operational improvements.

What are you going to do 

  • Develop weekly mine plans, drill and blast designs and production schedules
  • Enter and validate operational data for accurate planning and reporting
  • Reconcile production performance against plans and identify improvement actions
  • Conduct stope performance reviews and optimisation work
  • Collaborate with mining crews, geology, survey and contractors to support safe execution
  • Assist with monthly and quarterly planning and reporting inputs

Essential skills and knowledge

  • Strong underground mining experience (hard-rock gold essential)
  • Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering or equivalent
  • Experience in production engineering, drill & blast and scheduling
  • Deswik experience highly desirable
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Commitment to safety and continuous improvement
