Role Overview 

The Offshore Material Logistics Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all material logistics activities onboard an offshore unit. This role ensures that materials are received, stored, issued and returned efficiently, safely and in compliance with applicable procedures and regulatory requirements. The position plays a critical role in supporting uninterrupted offshore operations through effective inventory control, coordination with onshore teams and supervision of storekeeping activities. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Oversee inbound, outbound and backloaded materials, including verification of manifests, documentation and material condition, with particular attention to dangerous goods. 

  • Ensure proper storage, labelling, preservation and system registration of all onboard materials. 

  • Supervise storekeeping personnel and ensure compliance with logistics and inventory control procedures. 

  • Maintain accurate inventory records and coordinate regular stock takes and audits. 

  • Act as the primary offshore interface with onshore logistics teams for urgent materials, backloads and operational coordination. 

  • Prepare and issue regular and ad-hoc reports on stock levels, spare parts status and store conditions. 

  • Support helicopter and vessel loading operations as required, ensuring documentation compliance. 

  • Ensure proper waste segregation, identification and backloading in accordance with regulations. 

  • Promote continuous improvement by identifying process gaps and proposing operational enhancements. 

Health, Safety, Security and Environment (HSSE) 

Operate in full compliance with company HSSE policies, industry regulations and recognised offshore standards. Promote a strong safety culture, ensure safe material handling practices and support audit and inspection processes. 

Qualifications and Experience 

  • Minimum High School qualification; technical diploma or equivalent in Mechanical, Electrical or Instrumentation disciplines is an advantage. 

  • At least 5 years of relevant offshore experience, including offshore warehouse or store management. 

  • Previous experience in offshore logistics operations is preferred. 

  • Valid certification in Dangerous Goods handling is desirable. 

  • Forklift driving certification is mandatory. 

  • Proficient in MS Office applications; experience with CMMS systems (e.g. SAP) is advantageous. 

  • Advanced level of English required.

Working Conditions 

This position starts off in Singapore and transitions to be based offshore and requires working in accordance with offshore rotation schedules and applicable occupational health and safety requirements.
