What are you going to do

Our client is currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Inspector to support a major FPSO project at TBY Yard. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting mechanical equipment installation, testing, and quality compliance throughout construction and pre-commissioning phases.

Key Responsibilities

Inspect installation of rotating and static equipment.
Verify alignment, bolt tightening, preservation, and mechanical completion.
Witness functional tests and pre-commissioning activities.
Ensure compliance with project specifications and procedures.
Review inspection records and vendor documentation.
Monitor punch list closure.

Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
Minimum 5 years of mechanical inspection experience.
Knowledge of pumps, compressors, valves, and mechanical equipment installation.
Familiar with international inspection standards.

FPSO Experience

Experience in FPSO, offshore oil & gas, refinery, petrochemical, or marine projects.
Knowledge of rotating and static equipment installation and inspection.
Familiarity with mechanical completion and commissioning requirements.

Duration: 12 Months
Location: TBY Yard
Work Schedule: 6 Days/Week, 10 Hours/Day
Annual Leave: 14 Days
