O této pozici

  • Execute end-to-end monthly payroll processing for employees in Germany.
  • Ensure accurate calculation of salaries, bonuses, overtime, allowances, and deductions.
  • Process payroll changes including new hires, terminations, salary adjustments, and absences.
  • Manage off-cycle payments and payroll corrections when required.
  • Ensure full compliance with German payroll, tax (Lohnsteuer), and social security regulations.
  • Manage statutory filings and payments to relevant authorities such as tax offices, health insurers, and pension funds.
  • Oversee annual payroll activities including year-end processing and certificates (e.g. Lohnsteuerbescheinigung).
  • Monitor legislative updates and ensure compliance with German labor law and payroll requirements.
  • Perform payroll reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
  • Support payroll system enhancements, testing, upgrades, and process improvement projects.
  • Work with systems such as SAP, HCM, or similar payroll platforms.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for payroll-related employee inquiries.
  • Provide professional guidance on payslips, deductions, taxes, and statutory contributions.
  • Collaborate closely with HR, Finance, and external payroll providers to ensure smooth payroll delivery.
  • Ensure payroll controls, documentation, and audit requirements are fully maintained.
  • Support internal and external audits.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to improve payroll processes, efficiency, and accuracy

Požadavky

  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on payroll experience for Germany.
  • Strong knowledge of German payroll legislation, tax regulations, and social security systems.
  • Experience with payroll systems; SAP experience is preferred but not essential.
  • Experience in a multinational company or shared services environment is an advantage.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and customer-focused approach.
  • Good level of English; German is a strong advantage.
