For our innovative high-tech clients, we are looking for a Systems Engineer with experience in complex multidisciplinary systems. You will play a key role in bringing advanced equipment from concept to working prototype by coordinating system integration, technical interfaces, and verification activities.

Functieomschrijving

  • Driving system integration from module manufacturing and assembly to a fully functioning prototype.
  • Translating system requirements and architecture into an effective integration strategy.
  • Coordinating interfaces between mechanical, electrical, software, and process engineering disciplines.
  • Working closely with architects, engineers, suppliers, and development partners to resolve technical challenges.
  • Supporting prototype builds, integration, testing, verification, and validation activities.
  • Identifying technical risks, managing dependencies, and ensuring engineering changes are implemented successfully.
  • Providing hands-on support during system integration and troubleshooting on the machine.

Vereisten

  • Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related technical discipline.
  • Several years of experience as a Systems Engineer within a high-tech equipment, semiconductor, precision engineering, mechatronics, or similar environment.
  • Experience with multidisciplinary system integration and prototype development.
  • Strong understanding of systems engineering principles, interfaces, verification & validation (V-model), and technical dependencies.
  • Experience working with suppliers, development partners, or subcontractors.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work across multiple engineering disciplines.
  • You currently reside in the Netherlands and are eligible to work here without sponsorship.
