We are seeking a Senior Pipe Support Design Engineer to join a pioneering team in Rotterdam on a 12-month renewable contract. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to advanced engineering projects that drive continuous progress in sustainable energy solutions.

Responsibilities

  • As a Senior Designer, you will design solutions that uphold the highest standards of safety, reliability, and sustainability. You will be responsible for selecting methods and procedures, executing designs within specified scopes, and ensuring compliance with international codes, industry standards, and regulations.
  • Your expertise in CSS and HTML will support clear, accessible design documentation and collaboration platforms.
  • Working closely with Engineers, Designers, and Lead Designers, you will proactively share information, resolve design conflicts, and ensure system interfaces align.
  • You will plan and complete deliverables within agreed timeframes, escalate unresolved issues to minimise delays, and incorporate lessons learnt to enhance project outcomes.
  • Leading designers on assigned scopes and potentially acting as Lead Designer, your contribution will be pivotal to project and organisational success.

Vereisten

Responsibilities

  • Associate's or bachelor's degree in Engineering, Design, or a related field
  • 5 to 10 years' experience within the Oil & Gas industry
  • Proficiency in engineering design and calculation tools
  • Strong knowledge of concept development, bdetailed design, and systems engineering
  • Experience with piping stress and supports, sub-contracting, site engineering, and analysis
  • Ability to apply CSS and HTML skills for design documentation and effective communication
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills
  • Proven ability to plan, execute, and deliver complex design projects on schedule
  • Leadership capabilities with experience leading designers or acting as Lead Designer
