Recruitment scam targeting candidates in India
A fraudulent scam impacting candidates, especially in India, has been brought to our attention. The scammers are pretending to be working for a recruitment agency appointed by Brunel for overseas recruitment in India. These individuals will offer job opportunities and in many cases will provide fake documents appearing that the job opportunities are with Brunel. The documents might even have the Brunel logo, or entity names. Interested candidates are required to pay a (refundable) fee. In some cases, the scammers will try to explain that the fees are necessary to cover cost for medical tests or visa applications. After receiving the fee, all activity stops, and no (genuine) job is offered.
We want to highlight that these individuals do not represent Brunel, nor have we given them a recruitment assignment. Brunel will never require candidates to pay (upfront) fees in order to be eligible for a job opportunity.
We strongly recommend to anybody that receives such an offer or request, or worse, has paid the fee, to contact your local authorities and file a report, and stop all interactions with the individuals involved. To help us stop these type of activities and the abuse of our brand, please also inform us via info@brunelinternational.net.
