Our client is seeking experienced Underground Auto Electricians to join a leading mining contractor across various Australian operations. What are you going to do 

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect, diagnose, service, and repair underground mobile mining equipment.
  • Servicing and Maintenance of a modern fleet of equipment including development drills, Sadvik loaders, Volvo IT and the underground LV fleet.
  • Complete all maintenance activities in line with OEM standards and site procedures.
  • Accurately record maintenance activities and report equipment defects.
  • Maintain a strong commitment to safety, compliance, and quality workmanship.
  • Work collaboratively with the maintenance team to achieve operational targets.

Essential skills and knowledge

What You'll Bring

  • Australian-recognised Trade Certificate (Cert III or equivalent) in Auto Electrical.
  • Experience maintaining heavy mobile plant or underground mining equipment.
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills across electrical systems.
  • Current Manual C Class Australian Driver's Licence.
  • Solid understanding of mining safety requirements and maintenance best practices.
  • A reliable team player with a proactive approach and strong problem-solving skills.
