Introduction

  • The Technical Inspection Coordinator provides a high level of technical support and coordination for the project Quality function. The position performs to coordinate efficient inspection resource allocation via Request for Inspection (RFI) coordination and produces project RFI reporting metrics. This position enables the NFE Onshore Project to maintain robust Quality Verification of the work and adherence to established Company procedures for verification and inspection;
  • Works independently within agreed work practices and contributes to improving and streamlining business processes ensuring strict levels of confidentiality.

What are you going to do 

  • Support the Quality Team in coordinating all aspects of the project Request for Inspection (RFI) Verification program and ensure the Quality Control program are achieved;
  • Coordinate inspection workflow from Contractor databases to assigned Company personnel, verifies the accuracy and reconciles the completion status of the inspection performed for the daily and weekly RFI metrics;
  • Maintain, organize, analyze, update and retrieve data from Quality Deficiency Control & Corrective Action Registers, data files and update records accordingly;
  • Administers the Quality Assessment program and reporting metrics;
  • Contribute to the preparation and compilation of reports, statistics and presentations ensuring company metrics and reporting requirements are met;
  • Coordinates Piping Test Pack Request for Inspection (RFI) to assigned QC personnel and area;
  • Anticipate and resolve information processing and handling problems proactively in order to avoid disruptions;
  • Coordinate logistical and administrative related activities transportation and the training and induction of quality personnel;
  • Act as a quality team focal point for monthly timesheet collection, overtime preparation for approval;
  • Coordinates Site Quality Team leave rotations with site leaders and updates coverage calendars.

Essential skills and knowledge

  • High School (Year 12) Certificate or higher qualification;
  • 10 years of relevant experience, preferably within the oil & gas industry and with 5 years broad experience with projects and worldwide contractors and vendors;
  • Proficient command of written and spoken English;
  • Advanced keyboard and PC Skills;
  • Advanced knowledge of standard computer software;
  • Knowledge of some financial and budgetary processes.
