What are you going to do 

  • Mitgestaltung und Implementierung einer modernen, serviceorientierten Softwarearchitektur auf Embedded-Linux-Hardware
  • Entwurf, Bewertung und Optimierung modularer nativer Services unter Berücksichtigung von Hardware- und Ressourcenrestriktionen
  • Definition und Spezifikation technischer Schnittstellen für die Interprozesskommunikation, Web-Anbindungen sowie die Interaktion mit mobilen Applikationen
  • Übernahme der Verantwortung für das Cybersicherheitskonzept der Maschinensteuerungen inklusive der Sicherstellung relevanter normativer Vorgaben
  • Erstellung technischer Spezifikationen, Architekturrichtlinien und Standards im interdisziplinären Entwicklerteam
  • Enge Zusammenarbeit mit Entwicklern für Subsysteme, UI-Entwicklern, Hardware-Spezialisten und Testteams zur kontinuierlichen Prozess- und Systemoptimierung

Essential skills and knowledge

  • Erfolgreich abgeschlossenes Studium der Informatik, Elektrotechnik, Nachrichtentechnik oder eine vergleichbare Qualifikation mit entsprechender Praxiserfahrung
  • Einschlägige Berufserfahrung in der Architektur systemnaher Software für Embedded-Linux sowie verteilt arbeitender Anwendungen
  • Profunde Kenntnisse in C, C++ oder vergleichbaren Programmiersprachen für den Embedded-Bereich sowie fundierte Praxis in der Interprozesskommunikation
  • Begeisterung und Praxiserfahrung bezüglich serviceorientierter Architekturen und moderner Middleware-Technologien wie DDS, MQTT oder gRPC
  • Idealerweise Vertrautheit mit UI-Frameworks wie Qt/QML sowie ein ausgeprägtes Verständnis für Hardware-Schnittstellen und System-Constraints
  • Selbstständige, strukturierte und lösungsorientierte Arbeitsweise mit Leidenschaft für die Entwicklung intelligenter Softwarearchitekturen
  • Verhandlungssichere Deutsch- sowie sehr gute Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift für eine erfolgreiche Team- und Schnittstellenarbeit
