Introduction

We are seeking an organised and customer-focused Service Coordinator to join a well-established Engineering and Manufacturing company based in Malaga.

Reporting to the Operations Support Manager, you will coordinate service requests from receipt of the customer purchase order through to completion and invoicing. This is a varied position involving technician scheduling, mobilisation, stock coordination, customer liaison, purchasing and ERP administration.

What are you going to do 

The successful candidate will be comfortable managing multiple priorities and ensuring technicians, equipment, documentation and travel arrangements are in place for scheduled and breakdown maintenance activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate service requests from purchase order through to invoicing
  • Schedule service technicians for preventative and breakdown maintenance
  • Arrange flights, accommodation and site mobilisation requirements
  • Liaise with customers regarding scheduling, progress and service requirements
  • Create purchase orders, invoices and stock transfers
  • Coordinate the ordering and dispatch of parts, tools, equipment and PPE
  • Maintain customer, asset, maintenance and service records within the ERP system
  • Prepare quotations for parts and standard products
  • Ensure technicians, contractors and suppliers have completed required inductions
  • Maintain service contracts and monitor upcoming renewals and annual price increases
  • Support the mobilisation of employees and contractors for commissioning activities
  • Maintain accurate service documentation and customer records
  • Assist with general office and reception duties when required

Essential skills and knowledge

  • Good experience in service coordination, mobilisation, scheduling or a similar role
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills
  • Experience coordinating technicians, tradespeople or field-based personnel
  • A professional and customer-focused communication style
  • High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
  • The ability to prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and Word skills
  • Experience using an ERP or accounting system
  • The ability to remain composed and respond quickly when priorities change

A Certificate IV in Business Administration, Mobilisation or Supply Chain Management would be advantageous. Previous experience using GreenTree would also be highly regarded
