Introduction

We're looking for someone who combines transformer industry credibility with practical market-entry execution. The candidate should understand large transformer sales, technical specifications, supplier qualification, and complex project-based selling, while also knowing how to create entry points through distribution transformers, pad-mounted transformers, medium-voltage applications, data center power infrastructure, and industrial power systems.

What are you going to do

What You'll Do
* Develop revenue opportunities, qualified pipeline, order growth, and margin-conscious commercial execution for U.S. transformer and power infrastructure sales. * Build and manage a qualified sales pipeline across priority end markets and go-to-market channels.
* Develop new customer relationships through direct customer engagement, EPC / contractor influence, channel partnerships, and strategic account development. * Convert qualified opportunities into orders by managing customer needs, technical-commercial alignment, pricing discussions, and deal progression.
* Create practical market-entry opportunities through distribution transformers, pad-mounted transformers, package substations, medium-voltage applications, and data center / industrial power infrastructure projects. * Build a scalable pathway toward larger power transformer, substation, utility, and strategic infrastructure opportunities.
* Lead customer qualification, technical-commercial discussions, bid strategy, pricing, contract negotiation, and deal structuring. * Work closely with solution engineering, manufacturing, commercial support, delivery, quality, logistics, and service teams to support strong customer execution.
* Analyze customer demand, competitive positioning, market pricing, capacity dynamics, and supply-chain constraints to identify high-value opportunities and support disciplined commercial decisions. * Develop strategic accounts and repeatable sales channels through reliable delivery, responsive service, value-added technical support, and strong post-order execution.
* Continuously improve customer development methods, pipeline discipline, account planning, and sales execution practices to support sustainable growth.

Essential skills and knowledge

Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.

* 8+ years of commercial sales, business development, or key account experience in transformers, power equipment, electrical equipment, or power infrastructure.

* Direct commercial experience with power transformers, large distribution transformers, or transformer solutions for utility, EPC, data center, renewable energy, industrial, or power infrastructure customers.

* Proven track record of developing customers, managing complex sales cycles, and closing transformer or power equipment opportunities in competitive markets.

* Strong understanding of transformer applications, customer procurement workflows, technical specifications, bidding processes, supplier qualification, pricing, delivery requirements, warranty expectations, and commercial contract terms.

* Strong industry relationships and demonstrated ability to access decision makers across data centers, EPCs, electrical contractors, industrial power customers, renewable energy developers, utilities, transformer service companies, manufacturer's representatives, or channel partners.

* Ability to operate in a new-market-entry environment where customer credibility, supplier qualification, technical trust, and commercial execution must be built from the ground up.
