Introduction

This is a senior site based position responsible for the engineering and delivery of key civil construction packages across a significant road infrastructure project. You will work closely with the Project Manager and wider construction team, taking ownership of planning, technical delivery, subcontractor coordination, quality, programme and project controls.

What are you going to do 

  • Manage the engineering and delivery of major civil construction packages.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, site teams and construction activities.
  • Manage project programming, planning, sequencing and daily site delivery.
  • Oversee technical documentation, ITPs, quality assurance and project records.
  • Work closely with the Project Manager on costs, variations, forecasting and project controls.
  • Review designs, specifications and construction methodologies and resolve technical issues.
  • Coordinate survey, design, procurement and construction requirements.
  • Monitor progress against programme and drive timely completion of works.
  • Maintain strong relationships with the client, consultants and project stakeholders.

Essential skills and knowledge

  • 7+ years experience within civil infrastructure, road construction or major earthworks projects.
  • Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Strong experience managing civil construction packages from planning through to delivery.
  • Proven experience coordinating subcontractors, suppliers and site based construction teams.
  • Strong understanding of project controls, programming, quality and commercial management.
  • TfNSW road project experience would be highly regarded.
  • Experience on major road, earthworks or transport infrastructure projects.
  • Must be an Australian Citizen or Austalian Permanant Resident

What we offer 

  • $160,000 - $185,000 base + super + vehicle, depending on experience.
