Introduction

This position will be part of a team responsible for administering the plant management program, ensuring plant operations are compliant, safe, reliable, and cost-effective

What are you going to do 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop knowledge and understanding of the Asset Integrity Management program and undertake tasks including:
    • Mechanical integrity initiatives for rotating equipment
    • Management of API inspections and follow-up activities
    • Support Risk-Based Inspection (RBI) activities
    • Rotating equipment reliability improvement initiatives
    • Review and continuous improvement of Preventive and Predictive Maintenance routines
    • Support the transition to Reliability Centered Maintenance
    • Development of a "bad actor" list
    • Develop proficiency in engineering software tools and databases used for asset integrity (e.g., PCMS, FFS analysis, vibration analysis)
    • Stay current with technological developments in equipment integrity management
    • Support additional integrity initiatives as needed (e.g., pipelines, marine facilities)
    • Assist with the Management of Change (MOC) process
    • Support Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) processes
    • Develop and track relevant Key Performance Indicators
    • Provide day-to-day troubleshooting support to Operations Groups

Essential skills and knowledge

The ideal candidate will be a technical generalist with a solid working knowledge of gas processing plant equipment, including general machinery, piping, pressure vessels, heat exchangers, storage tanks, instrumentation, and safety equipment.

Additionally, the candidate should be well-versed in industry standards, specifications, and codes (such as API, ASME, NACE, ANSI, and ISO) and possess a strong understanding of Condition Monitoring and Risk-Based Management concepts.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline (e.g., Chemical, Mechanical, Metallurgy, Welding)
  • One to four years of experience as an Engineer in a process plant environment is preferred
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 Application Suite
  • Knowledge of ASME, API, and NACE/AMPP recommended practices
