Introduction

What are you going to do 

Working as part of the project team, you'll be involved across the planning and delivery of civil works, with a focus on keeping construction progressing safely, efficiently and to program.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing engineering support across active construction works
  • Planning upcoming works and coordinating resources with the site team
  • Working with subcontractors and suppliers to keep works progressing
  • Assisting with procurement, variations, progress claims and project reporting
  • Monitoring project costs, productivity and progress against targets
  • Supporting quality requirements including ITPs, inspections and documentation
  • Working closely with supervisors, engineers and project management to resolve site issues
  • Contributing to a safe and positive site environment

Essential skills and knowledge

We're looking for a Civil Project Engineer with:

  • Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering
  • 3+ years' experience in civil construction
  • Experience working across civil infrastructure, earthworks or similar projects
  • Experience working with subcontractors and site-based teams
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • A practical approach and commitment to safety and quality
