What are you going to do 

A leading provider of American-produced liquefied natural gas is looking for an Associate/Graduate Process Engineer to join their team in a Louisiana-based facility.

This position will report to the Process Engineer and support Operations.

The role involves ensuring plant process operations remain compliant with programs, and are safe, reliable, and cost-effective. The successful candidate will be a technical generalist with a strong understanding of gas processing.

Job Role Responsibilities:

The candidate will develop knowledge and understanding of the company's Asset Integrity Management program and be assigned tasks including, but not limited to:

  • Staying current with technology developments in process management
  • Supporting additional initiatives as needed (e.g., pipelines, marine facility)
  • Assisting with the Management of Change (MOC) process
  • Supporting the Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) process
  • Supporting the development and tracking of appropriate Key Performance Indicators
  • Providing day-to-day troubleshooting support to Operations Groups

Essential skills and knowledge

Education, Experience, and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline (e.g., Chemical, Mechanical, Metallurgy, Welding)
  • One (1) to four (4) years of experience working as an Engineer in a process plant environment is a plus
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 Application Suite
  • Familiarity with ASME, API, and NACE/AMPP recommended practices
