Introduction

This is a genuine site leadership role for someone who knows piling inside and out and is comfortable taking control of day to day operations without needing to be micromanaged. You'll be stepping into a position where you're trusted to run your sites properly. The work covers large infrastructure projects in Adelaide

What are you going to do 

  • Supervise piling operations on site (CFA, bored, screw or driven piling depending on project)
  • Coordinate labour, plant and materials to maintain productivity
  • Ensure works are delivered in line with drawings, specifications and geotechnical reports
  • Run pre-starts, toolbox talks and enforce safety procedures
  • Monitor daily production and maintain accurate site records
  • Liaise with builders, engineers and inspectors
  • Identify and manage site issues before they impact programme
  • Maintain quality control throughout piling activities

Essential skills and knowledge

  • Proven experience supervising piling works on large infrastructure projects
  • Strong understanding of different piling methods and ground conditions
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Confident managing crews and subcontractors
  • Solid knowledge of site safety requirements and compliance
  • Strong communication skills and ability to deal directly with clients on site
