Introduction

Brunel is looking for an experienced Offshore Logistics Coordinator to join an offshore project in Suriname, supporting logistics operations onboard a rig.

Location: Paramaribo / Offshore, SurinameRotation: 4 weeks on / 4 weeks off
Schedule: 12 hours/day, 7 days/week during the offshore rotation

What are you going to do 

  • Coordinate offshore logistics activities and maintain close communication with the onshore logistics team.
  • Coordinate personnel and cargo movements, vessel schedules and offshore logistics priorities.
  • Interface with vessel masters, helicopter crews, drilling supervisors, contractors and offshore teams.
  • Coordinate loading and discharge operations and monitor offshore cargo movements.
  • Ensure cargo manifests, pre-manifests and logistics records are properly maintained.
  • Monitor CCU inventories and anticipate potential logistics constraints.
  • Coordinate offshore helicopter logistics in accordance with applicable aviation procedures.
  • Support HSE activities, inspections, safety meetings and emergency response when required.
  • Participate in daily operational and logistics coordination meetings.
  • Ensure Company logistics procedures and applicable marine, aviation and HSE requirements are consistently followed.

Essential skills and knowledge

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics operations, marine logistics coordination, offshore support activities or material management.
  • Experience supporting drilling, completion, construction or offshore production operations.
  • Knowledge of offshore cargo logistics, vessel operations, manifests and material tracking processes.
  • Experience with logistics planning and logistics management systems; KABAL or equivalent is a plus.
  • Valid offshore medical certification.
  • BOSIET certification preferred.
  • Fluent English.
  • Strong coordination, communication and reporting skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary offshore operations teams.
