Introduction

Brunel is seeking a Network Cabling Technician to work with one of our clients! This opportunity involves a one-year outsourced contract (with the possibility of annual renewal) based in Georgetown.

What are you going to do 

  • Configure and integrate security systems with existing IT infrastructure to ensure effective operation.
  • Assess sites and identify security needs to recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Perform routine maintenance and updates to ensure systems remain fully operational.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to security systems and connectivity.
  • Monitor system activity and analyze logs to detect potential risks or incidents.
  • Manage and maintain network security tools, including firewalls and threat protection systems.
  • Conduct security assessments to identify vulnerabilities and improve system resilience.
  • Implement and manage access control measures to protect systems and data.
  • Configure automated security responses to enhance incident handling and system protection.

Essential skills and knowledge

  • Previous experience in network cable running and termination.
