Introduction

  • Provide SHES direction, guidance and leadership to Onshore PMT and CONTRACTOR(s) across all Packages within the assigned area.
  • Perform oversight of Onshore SHES performance management process to ensure Project and LNG performance expectations are met.
  • Support PMT and CONTRACTOR SHES teams of all packages and Shared Resources in the implementation and verification of the Onshore SHES Performance related Plans and Procedures through systematic performance measuring.
  • Support the Onshore CONTRACTORS and provide expert advice and guidance on SHES performance management, measuring and continual improvement to all PMT and CONTRACTOR personnel at all levels of the organization, and during all phases of the Project.

What are you going to do 

  • Supports the Onshore project in all SHES related disciplines and scope of work but with specific SHES focus on performance management and and monitoring, contractual performance compliance, and continual improvement of the management system and its associated plans and procedures.
  • Supports the SHES Head Shared Resources as the key focal point for the overall project SHES performance management.
  • Provides oversight of CONTRACTORS and Subcontractors SHES performance and drives performance excellence in all SHES related aspects.
  • Support SHES audits relevant to the project SHES management system, and participates in PMT and CONTRACTOR SHES assurance activities as required.
  • Support the implementation of the Onshore SHES Management System, its Plans, Procedures and Programs, performs evaluations on the effectiveness of relevant activities.
  • Provide strategic advice and support to the SHES Excellence Division Manager, and ensures effective implementation of SHES excellence programs consistent with established SHES strategy, goals and objectives.
  • Assist the SHES Excellence Division Manager with development, implementation and stewardship of a comprehensive and integrated Onshore SHES Excellence Program.
  • Coordinate Third Party support services as required and oversees the delivery of such service in accordance with established service agreements.
  • Act as advisor when requested in the development of project SHES policies and procedures related to performance enhancement.
  • Keep up-to-date with international developments in performance management and measuring methodologies for potential continual improvements of SHES programs.

Essential skills and knowledge

  • Minimum of twelve (12) years industry relevant HSE experience.
  • International project experience with Tier-1 EPC Contractors or Client, involved in the construction of onshore production facilities (i.e. greenfield and brownfield work).
  • Sound knowledge of the project execution process in large-scale project environments (expenditure >US$ 1 Bn).
  • Bachelor of Science, or equivalent or higher
  • NVQ Level 5 Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety Practice, or higher.
  • NEBOSH International General Certificate
  • ISO 45001:2028 OHS MS Lead Auditor
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written English skills; confident and clear presentation development and delivery.
  • Able to cope with excessive workload and work under extreme pressure, keeping the team calm and focused.
  • Strong teamwork, facilitation, with the ability to communicate and interact at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to work with diverse cultures to obtain a world-class SHES performance.
  • Creates high quality and accurate output in a timely manner.
  • Team player who can effectively collaborate within Project Teams and with external parties.
  • Able to identify and analyze complex issues and provide recommendations.
  • Computer literate, familiar working with Microsoft office applications.
