What are you going to do 

  • Provides input to Construction Surveillance Programs per the Project Quality Plan (PQP);
  • Monitors the effective oversight of Contractors Construction quality efforts;
  • Supports in the Implementation of Company surveillance assessment program conducting assessments in line with approved schedule;
  • Provides Quality training to Company inspection teams;
  • Participates in Construction phase Quality Audits ;
  • Reviews and provides comments to Contractor's Project Quality Plans & procedures;
  • Reviews and provides comments to Contractor’s Quality personnel assigned to the project;
  • Ensures all projects procedures and plans (Latest Revision) are cascaded down to ;Inspection team;
  • Supports Quality Head of Utilities in review & approval of deliverables of EPC Contractor & any sub-contractors (eg, Plans, ITPs, etc);
  • Monitors and measures Contractor’s quality performance Reports deficiencies to Quality Head of Utilities;
  • Supports resolution of quality issues;
  • Prepares Quality Daily reports in respect to Quality oversight highlighting areas of concern;
  • Actively Participates in Contractor Quality Walk Programs and Quality Tool box talks;
  • Applies extensive hands-on, industry-based experience & knowledge to promote & establish existing systems, processes & procedures within a structured quality framework;
  • Supports Quality Head of Utilities for the implementation of PMT Q/IM solutions in a timely & cost-effective manner that compliments safety, cost & schedule;
  • Promotes and monitors key processes such as Deficiency Reporting (DR), Specification Deviation Request (SDR), Non-conformance (NCR) and Corrective Action Requests (CAR);
  • Requires the ability to effectively communicate quality at project & functional level;
  • Collaborative management attributes are essential across all levels of the organization with an ability to establish & maintain genuine & responsive relationships;
  • Demonstrates the highest level of integrity in dealing with all parties and communicates concisely in written and verbal context; prepares high quality written reporting;
  • Active participation in COMPANY and Contractor Lessons Learned programs.

Essential skills and knowledge

  • Experience with multi-national contractors & vendors, in particular those involved in the construction of LNG Plants and facilities;
  • Strong coordination skills, extensive quality experience in responsible roles on major oil & gas engineering & construction projects;
  • Experienced in facilitating & coordinating efforts to troubleshoot project issues;
  • Experience with conducting audits and assessments of work processes and procedures;
  • Experience with LNG plant construction including pneumatic testing, preservation procedures and flange management;
  • 10 years’ experience with Quality Management Programs and Quality Control activities for execution of mega projects in the Oil & Gas Construction Industry;
  • Preferred: Associates Engineering or Engineering degree Metallurgical, Welding, Mechanical or Science.
