Brunel International is seeking a Lead Inspection Coordinator to join our globally leading client on a 12-month renewable contract based in Rotterdam. Starting ASAP, this role offers an exciting opportunity to lead critical inspection activities on a global scale in offshore engineering and project management. What are you going to do 

Responsibilities:

  • As Lead Inspection Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring all equipment, materials, and processes comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • You will develop and implement inspection plans, coordinate with internal teams, third-party inspectors, and regulatory bodies, and oversee the documentation and resolution of any non-conformances.
  • Your leadership will ensure seamless communication between stakeholders and facilitate vendor compliance with project standards. Additionally, you will conduct training sessions and mentor the inspection coordinators' team, ensuring high performance and adherence to quality protocols.
  • This role demands a proactive approach to compliance monitoring, issue resolution, and effective use of inspection management tools within a fast-paced environment.

Essential skills and knowledge

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, quality management, or a related technical discipline.
  • Relevant certifications in inspection or quality assurance.
  • Proven experience leading inspection coordination activities, ideally in the oil and gas or similar industries.
  • Strong knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in inspection management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • High attention to detail coupled with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Functional competencies including: Expediting, Analytics and Reporting, Quality Control Plans, Regulatory Management, Inspection, Testing, Commissioning and Monitoring, Product Knowledge relevant to SBM, Purchasing Tools and Processes, Package Management, and Third-Party Relations Management.
