What are you going to do 

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide pre-sales technical support for C&I Energy Storage Systems, including battery systems, EMS integration, and system architectures
  • Work closely with sales teams to translate customer technical and commercial requirements into optimised ESS solutions. This will include, but not limited to:
    • Develop technical proposals for C&I ESS projects
    • Support tenders and bids through technical solution design, documentation preparation, and technical clarifications
    • Prepare compliance responses
  • Engage directly with customer technical teams, consultants, EPCs, and integrators to provide timely and high-quality support
  • Stay up to date with Australian standards, grid requirements, and compliance frameworks relevant to C&I ESS
  • Participate in technical presentations, customer workshops, and market-facing activities to promote Leoch ESS solutions
  • Maintain strong product and market knowledge across battery technologies, BESS architectures, and behind-the-meter applications

Essential skills and knowledge

Prerequisite requirements

  • Full working rights in Australia (mandatory)
  • Minimum bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Power Systems, Electronics, Automation, or a related discipline. Master degree in related field highly desirable.
  • Proficient in English language and fluent in Mandarin / Chinese language
  • Prior experience in pre-sales or applications engineering roles

Skills & Experience

  • Understanding of C&I PV and behind-the-meter ESS system design
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills
  • Proficiency in CAD tools and Microsoft Office
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and comfortable engaging with multiple stakeholders across technical and commercial teams
