What are you going to do 

  • Lead the process of development and reviewing of the corporate strategy including Operational & Sales Goals and Objectives that are aligned with the strategic goals of the company including short-term and long-term objectives and budgets which support strategy implementation, including regular reviews and re-forecasts
  • Build trusting relationships with key partners and stakeholders and act as a point of contact for important shareholders
  • Be the primary spokesperson for the company to communicate effectively and frequently with the business' internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure corporate compliance of the company with relevant laws, codes of conduct, Quality certification standards and ethical standards
  • Oversight of all departments, divisions and individuals working in the company who are under him in the organizational structure and follow up on all daily operations and issues related to them and provide solutions.
  • Define the implementation of the regulation and adherence to all HSE procedures and ensure they are part of the business operations.
  • Submitting periodic and annual reports of the company's performance indicators to the senior management.
  • Maintain the stock of products in the company's stores and comparing them with their usage through the Head Operations.
  • Monitor and maintain timely, accurate and efficient of cash handing by communicating with Operations Head.
  • Holding meetings with all departments and concerned parties to follow up on issues related to each party, with reports to senior management.
  • Review financial and non-financial reports to devise solutions or improvements
  • Promote and champion the company corporate culture with a focus on transparency of operations and inspire the workforce to imbibe the Qatar value system.
  • Periodically evaluate performance of divisional heads and other direct reports against objectives and identify potential areas to improve operational and functional efficiency.
  • Perform any other tasks assigned to him by the Chairman or the Board of Directors.

Essential skills and knowledge

  • Bachelor's degree in BA or any related fields.
  • Master of Business Administration or equivalent qualification in relevant field.
  • Experience in Operation management for any field/industry.
  • Proven experience as GM or Director in any production environment
  • Demonstrated leadership experience across business development , operations management and entrepreneurial functions
  • Experience in developing profitable strategies and implementing vision.
  • Strong understanding of corporate finance and performance management principles.
  • Familiarity with diverse business functions such as marketing, PR, finance etc. Reasonable depth of knowledge in corporate governance and general management practices
  • 'Self-Starter' with strong personal motivation, enthusiasm and perseverance.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset with outstanding organizational and leadership skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and a supportive management style.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal communication, relationship building and networking skills
  • Excellent negotiation skills and ability to manage and/resolve conflict
  • Excellent communication and public speaking skills Strong oral and written language skills - English
