What are you going to do 

  1. Act as Lead General/Piping Engineer, responsible for overall project communication, discipline coordination, technical scheme discussions, and solution development.

  2. Identify work scope and technical requirements for offshore oil & gas projects.

  3. Participate in technical clarifications and prepare piping discipline proposals.

  4. Design, review, and approve overall piping discipline deliverables, ensuring compliance with project and client requirements.

  5. Develop equipment layout philosophy and lead major equipment layout design.

  6. Coordinate, track, and resolve technical issues across all piping deliverables, ensuring timely implementation.

  7. Prepare Material Take-Offs (MTOs) for pipes, fittings, valves, and related items.

  8. Review piping discipline material bidding documents, support bid evaluations, review vendor drawings, attend FATs, and provide procurement technical support.

  9. Provide site engineering support during construction, including coordination and technical scheme discussions.

  10. Perform other duties as assigned by the Project Manager and General/Piping Department.

Requirements

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree or above in Engineering or a related discipline.

  • Minimum 15+years of professional experience in offshore oil & gas general and piping engineering, including technical management roles.

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience as Lead Engineer on Middle East offshore projects.

  • Strong experience in offshore facilities engineering, including offshore platforms, FPSOs, and semi-submersible platforms.

  • Solid knowledge of oil & gas field development, offshore piping engineering, and relevant international codes and standards, including API, ASME, and standards.

  • Familiarity with international project execution systems, client design philosophies, and technical risk identification and mitigation.

  • Strong expertise in piping stress analysis, including static, dynamic, and AIV/FIV analysis; proficient in CAESAR II.

  • Excellent analytical, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

  • Proven team leadership, decision-making, coordination, and communication abilities.

  • Strong execution capability with a focus on quality, efficiency, and results.

  • Excellent English proficiency (spoken and written) suitable for international project environments.
