Responsibilities

  • Manage and close technical actions arising from consultant issue logs and internal action registers, ensuring clear resolution plans and timely closure.
  • Coordinate engineering activities across multiple consultants to ensure alignment, integration, and effective project execution.
  • Review consultant weekly and monthly reports, identifying and mitigating potential schedule, budget, and technical risks.
  • Lead value engineering and constructability reviews to support safe, efficient, and cost-effective project delivery.
  • Review and approve engineering designs, technical recommendations, and design changes.
  • Interpret design and technical requirements to ensure consistent understanding and implementation across project teams.
  • Support the development of the Engineering Management Plan and feasibility-stage deliverables required to advance the project through subsequent execution phases.

  • 10+ years of engineering and capital project experience within mining, heavy industrial, or major infrastructure environments.
  • Experience leading multidisciplinary engineering teams, EPCM contractors, and engineering consultants on large capital projects.
  • Experience delivering brownfield mining infrastructure projects involving crushers, conveyors, utilities, power distribution, roads, water management systems, pumping systems, or other site infrastructure.
  • Strong understanding of technical reviews, engineering governance, constructability, value engineering, and project risk management.
  • Proven ability to build relationships with Operations, Maintenance, Environmental, Health & Safety, and Project stakeholders while driving alignment across multiple workstreams.
  • Demonstrated leadership, communication, and organizational skills, with a proactive approach to issue resolution and project delivery.
  • Owner-side mining project experience and PMP certification are considered assets.
