Introduction

Brunel is looking for a Contracts Analyst to join the team of one of our clients in the oil and gas sector! This position will be a temporary 9-month contract, through Brunel, with 100% on-site work at our client's office located in Rio de Janeiro (RJ).

What are you going to do 

  • Administrative management of contracts, ensuring compliance with technical, commercial, labor, and health and safety requirements.
  • Interface with internal and technical fiscal areas to monitor the execution of services and supplier performance.
  • Conducting ad-hoc negotiations and managing claims, ensuring compliance with deadlines, costs, and contractual conditions.
  • Monitoring KPIs and SLAs, with performance analysis and proposal of improvements.
  • Control of contractual measurements and validation of invoices for payment.
  • Ensuring legal, labor, and regulatory compliance of contracts, with preventive action on deviations.
  • Continuous evaluation of suppliers and implementation of corrective actions for performance improvement.
  • Preparation, review, and management of contractual documents, including addenda, application of penalties, claims, and adjustments.

Essential skills and knowledge

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, International Trade, Engineering, Economics, and/or related fields.
  • Postgraduate degree in Finance, Statistics, Supply Chain, Project Management, and/or related fields (desirable).
  • Experience in Administrative Management of Contracts for materials and technical services, preferably in construction and industrial maintenance.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems, especially Oracle.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (proficiency in Power BI is desirable).
  • Tax knowledge.
  • Experience with Strategic Sourcing Tools (TCO, Should Cost Analysis, Kraljlic Matrix, BSC).
  • Advanced English.
