What are you going to do 

  • Ensuring adherence to all safety protocols and regulations during fabrication process.
  • Manages and ensures successful execution of coating & insulation items fabrication project components to meet prioritized objectives (Safety, Quality, Schedule, and others, as appropriate).
  • To provide specialist support for the activities of the Contractor/Subcontractors related to the coating & insulation items fabrication to ensure that it complies with contractual requirements, project documentation and applicable International Standards.
  • To check the constructability aspects, as well as the compliance to all technical requirements, of the deliverables provided by the Engineering Team Contractor.
  • To review deviations to Company construction standards for comments with Contractors / Subcontractors input, to deliver a consistent dossier (documents, materials, procured and fabricated items, precom/com dossiers, as built …) for the construction activities.
  • Identify any areas of concern with respect to progress and/or quality and recommend corrective actions as required.
  • Review Contractor's progress reports and reports for all the activities, highlighting critical
  • problems, drifts and dysfunctions if any.
  • To Liaise with Contractors/Subcontractors for all coating & insulation subject, to ensure the Contractors/Subcontractors progress follow up and reporting.
  • To Participate to Risk Assessments kick off meetings and Pre-Job Meetings, technical meeting etc. as required in accordance with Company's referential.
  • To participate to REX and Lessons Learned for the Company.

Essential skills and knowledge

  • Bachelors Degree in Sciences or Engineering.
  • 8 years experience with Large Projects in Construction related disciplines (e.g., construction, installation, fabrication, execution, completion, hook-up, etc.) in the Oil & Gas Industry, including including 1 year of experience in a supervisory role, including as an expert for coating & insulation. Additional relevant work experience may be substituted for technical education.
  • Good knowledge of Project Execution procedures and field management and techniques including fabrication, welding, lifting, mechanical testing and completions.
  • Experience with Oil and Gas companies, contractors, service companies, or heavy construction companies.
  • Knowledge of design standards, specifications, codes, and appropriate safety criteria related to major fabrication, transport, installation, brownfield execution, and hook-up, as applicable to the project scope.
  • Knowledge of offshore facilities and structures, onshore facilities, or yard operations as applicable to a project scope.
  • Knowledge of execution methods and risks associated with sour gas and LNG production facilities.
  • Experience working in large scale operating organizations in Operations, Projects, Subsurface, etc.
