Introduction

  • Company Site Representative (CSR) is responsible for all Offshore Pipelay works and acts as the Company Representative for execution and acceptance of the offshore pipelay works on behalf of the Offshore Project.
  • The CSR has to ensure objectives are met within the approved scope and schedule and that all work is completed in accordance with safety and quality standards applicable.

What are you going to do 

  • As Offshore Company Site Representative, manage offshore pipelay vessel works for LNG, ensuring technical objectives, scope, schedule and quality are met, while effectively coordinating with Project PMT, Site PMT, MWS, and contractors.
  • Act as Site Focal Point, promoting Safety Leadership, overseeing safe work execution, and supporting the Construction Lead by reviewing contractor documents and submittals to ensure compliance with the contract requirements.
  • Attend Hazid/Risk Assesment/project technical review session as instructed with LNG, CONTRACTOR/SUB-CONTRACTOR.
  • Inspect and audit all marine vessels, including vessel suitability for work scope(s), involved in the pipelay works and liaise with Contractor's Marine Warranty Surveyor (MWS).
  • Verify operational status of pipelay equipment, vessels and personnel on a day-to-day basis involved in the field works performed.
  • Support external interfaces with RLIC, other operators and schedule and arrange technical support to shareholders as requested.
  • Set up and manage daily meetings with LNG field personnel, CONTRACTOR/SUBCONTRACTOR and call specific 'ad hoc' meetings as required.
  • Assessing and auditing contractors' documentation in regard to HSES, QA/QC, Marine, Environmental and Project Execution.
  • Ensure technical aspects of the Risk Management Plan are managed effectively and review and approve design changes, coordinate all changes to installation specifications and exceptions are in accordance with the Project Management of Change (PMOC) processes.
  • Ensure close coordination within LNG project team on all engineering, method of statement, constructability and installation matters.

Essential skills and knowledge

  • Offshore Training certifications from the following industry accredited bodies; IMCA, IMO, OPITO, MTCS, UKCS, PUWER, LOLER and IOGP i.e. On-scene commander, Person In Charge, Company Representative,
  • OPITO certification H2S and T-BOSIET are a requirement.
  • 10+ years of experience in discipline with at least 8 years demonstrated senior construction/installation experience in major capital projects.
  • Extensive experience in an Offshore Installation & Construction Supervisory Role with Client, EPCI contractors, sub-contractors and vendors involved in the oil and gas industry.
  • Worldwide experience with contractors in particular those involved in the Offshore LNG production facilities.
  • Application and in-depth knowledge of stakeholder specifications and a working knowledge of Industry standards.
  • A high level of proficiency in written and spoken English.
  • Computer literacy involving the regular use of professional office applications and some technical applications.
  • Ability to work on or be based on a platform or vessel.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on teamwork and the ability to communicate and interact within a PMT.
