Introduction

A tier 2 civil contractor is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Supervisor in the field of civil construction. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality, safe, and cost-effective road stabilisation and civil projects. In addition, they will provide support to the NSW Operations Manager and assist with project delivery interstate as required. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to join an industry leader team and contribute to the successful completion of our projects.

What are you going to do 

As a Civil Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and economic delivery of projects. You will lead and manage multiple civil teams concurrently, demonstrating your leadership skills and ability to achieve project objectives. Your responsibilities will include mentoring and developing field staff, maintaining client relationships, and ensuring compliance with project management frameworks and quality, safety, and environmental systems. In collaboration with the Operations Manager and Project Manager, you will oversee the project's progress, communicate information effectively, and uphold organisational policies and procedures.

Essential skills and knowledge

  • Significant previous experience as a Supervisor, Foreman, or team leader in civil construction.
  • Demonstrated track record as a leader with notable achievements in the civil construction industry.
  • Ability to effectively lead multiple civil teams concurrently.
  • Proven ability to mentor, train, and develop field staff.
  • Knowledge of Road Reconstruction Machinery.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Demonstrated client relationship management skills.
  • Flexible, outcome-oriented, and team-focused mindset.
  • Possession of NSW Construction White Card.
  • Valid NSW Driver's License (Class C).

What we offer 

The salary package will be determined based on relative experience paying up to $140k + super + car. You will be given the opportunity to work with a high supporting management team with a forward thinking culture.
