We are seeking a commercially driven Business Development Manager to support the growth of inspection and asset integrity services across Western Australia.

Based in Perth, this role will combine relationship development, account growth and proactive business generation. You will work closely with clients to understand their needs, identify new opportunities and position the business for success across tenders, supplier panels and framework agreements.

What are you going to do 

Reporting to the Business Manager, you will operate with a high level of autonomy while collaborating closely with operational and technical teams to deliver practical, high-quality client solutions.

This is an excellent opportunity for a relationship-led sales professional who enjoys building trust, opening new doors and converting commercial opportunities into long-term client partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and develop strong, long-term relationships with clients across key industries
  • Identify and convert new business opportunities within existing and new accounts
  • Drive inclusion in tenders, supplier panels and framework agreements
  • Develop and maintain a healthy, active sales pipeline with clear conversion focus
  • Collaborate with technical and operational teams to deliver tailored client solutions
  • Represent the business at industry events, networking opportunities and client meetings
  • Contribute to account planning, market strategies and growth initiatives
  • Maintain accurate CRM activity, forecasting and pipeline reporting
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity and emerging client opportunities
  • Support the continued growth of inspection and asset integrity services across Western Australia

Essential skills and knowledge

You will be confident engaging with technical, operational, procurement and senior client stakeholders, and will bring a structured approach to client development, pipeline management and account growth.

To be successful, you will ideally bring:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in B2B sales, business development or account management
  • Experience within industrial, technical, engineering, inspection, NDT, asset integrity or related services
  • Demonstrated ability to develop relationships and win new business
  • Experience managing an active sales pipeline and working to commercial targets
  • Strong communication, negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with technical and operational teams
  • Experience using CRM systems and maintaining disciplined sales activity
  • A proactive, organised and commercially focused approach
  • Current Australian driver's licence
