Introduction

Working closely with senior leadership, you will support business development activities, strengthen existing client relationships and identify new project opportunities. You'll contribute to tender submissions, pre-contract activities and client engagement while also helping shape Indigenous participation strategies that create genuine outcomes for communities.

What are you going to do 

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities across targeted sectors.
  • Support tender submissions, proposals and other pre-contract activities.
  • Assist in developing Indigenous participation plans and local content strategies.
  • Prepare compelling Indigenous engagement narratives for bids and client submissions.
  • Work alongside leadership to implement and enhance the company's Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP).
  • Build relationships with Indigenous businesses, organisations and community stakeholders.

Essential skills and knowledge

  • 3-5+ years experience in business development, account management, sales coordination or a similar client facing role.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify, develop and secure new business opportunities.
  • Experience working with Indigenous engagement initiatives, participation programs or community consultation.
  • Understanding of structured engagement frameworks such as IAP2 will be highly regarded.
  • Strong written communication skills with experience preparing tender or proposal content.
  • Current Australian driver's licence.
  • Ability to obtain a National Police Clearance.
  • Full Australian working rights.

  • Salary package of $81,000 - $109,000 + super.
  • Monday to Friday role working a 38-hour week.
