Introduction

  • perform inspection of plant equipment and offshore facility during normal operation and shutdowns in compliance with Company’s inspection policy, WSE, recommended practices (RP) and the guideline of API Codes and Standards

What are you going to do 

  • Review the results of non-destructive testing on piping and equipment.
  • Review the results of hardness tests, ID/OD measurements using calipers.
  • Review the result of NDT inspection reports.
  • Witness hydro and pneumatic tests.
  • Witness setting of PSV, if assigned by Company.
  • Evaluate the inspection and test result with relevant to company spec or API code, generate anomaly report, prepare necessary repair/rectification inspection work list.
  • Follow-up inspection and testing of repair and replacement works as per approved ITP.
  • Prepare inspection reports with recommendations for approval of Company.

Essential skills and knowledge

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent
  • Plant Inspectors shall have at least eight (8) years of current work experience and either of API 510/570/653 Certification.
  • Inspectors should be conversant with ASME Sec.V, ASME SECVIII, ASME B 31.3 Codes and applicable API Codes.
  • Skilled in use of CIMS and MS-Office software
  • Must demonstrate good communication skill in English.
